Teaching to me is my dream come true. For most people when they hear teaching they think of a teacher that most likely made their school experience terrible. When I think of teaching I think of the amazing teachers I had growing up who helped shape me who I am today. I want to be that teacher, the teacher who changed at least one of my students lives for the better. I am so excited to be almost at the end of my college experience and beginning my teaching adventure!I am going to be keeping a blog of my last year of college and onto my teaching years to come. I have my last field placement experience and then will have student teaching in the Fall of 2017. I want to be able to reflect back on my experiences and stories so that I will never loose that excitement of becoming a teacher. Too often I hear of new teachers burning out within the first 3 years of teaching and I do not want to become part of that statistic.
